Patience
Michelle, thankfully, has more patience than her mother. A national chain store made a mistake on a purchase of mine last week. It took over an hour, three clerks, two associate managers and the manager to correct the mistake. I was more than ready to leave the store and call the district manager. Michelle tried to keep me calm while I explained simple math to the sales associate. Sigh. If I paid $5.70 for an item, and the computer credits my account for $3.75, I believe anyone past the first grade could see the error. Not so.
When I come home with incorrect receipts, Michelle just reminds me that I should always check my receipts before leaving the store. It's my fault that I trust the sales associate to know what she or he is doing. After the stress of today, she won't have to remind me again.
Wishing you a happy weekend!
Francis
